Presenting Disruptive Technology, Attracting Political Attention, Discovering Latest Market Innovations

This year’s CeBIT Exhibition & Conference is all about the latest trends and current state of the digital industry. Disruptive technologies such as 3D printing are considered as one of the latest trends by this year’s CeBIT organizers, visitors and of course by us. trinckle 3D was invited to present innovative software solutions for 3D printing and to discuss the future of the market by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

3D Printing – a Disruptive Technology on the Edge of a Quantum Leap

3D printing is omnipresent at this year’s CeBIT. There are several manufacturers and retailers to visit for the newest hardware developments like be3D, formlabs, Zmorph or iGo3D. On Thursday you can listen to the keynote speech of Cathy Lewis, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, 3D Systems Corp. talking about “Manufacturing the Future”  on the Global Conference.

During the last two days we were driving the discussion in hall 9 which is specialized on  research & innovation. We are grateful for all the inspiring debates and the positive feedback we got from interested companies, politicians and last but not least from all our private visitors.

Worth mentioning was the heavy interest in 3D printing and startups shown by the German political scene this year.  We were not only officially invited to present ourselves on the impressive stand of the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy but also kindly visited by Minister Sigmar Gabriel who is also patron of the CeBIT 2015 and Brigitte Zypries (Parliamentary State Secretary). Furthermore we had visitors from the Middle East with the delegation of the Iranian Ministry.

“Great innovations are often based on young and fast growing IT companies. The European and in particular the German IT industry show high potential in this regard.” Sigmar Gabriel, Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy

What Else Is Worth Seeing at This Year’s CeBIT?

There are more exciting things to discover at the 2015 CeBIT. Some of the fresh trends are Industry 4.0, Big Data & Cloud and IT Security. We are very pleased that especially startups are more and more supported to present themselves at big fairs like the CEBIT. So don’t miss to visit the startup dominated hall “SCALE 11”and the even stylisher hall “CODE_n” where you can discover fresh ideas from German and international startups.

Last but not least we would like to compliment our friends from mynigma, who became second in the CeBIT Innovation Award 2015 that is endowed with 30.000 €. Mynigma developed a very user-friendly e-mail app with automatic encryption which can be highly recommended. Good job, guys!

We have some  free tickets back on stock. If you are still keen on going to the CeBIT, take your chance to get a free ticket.  Go ahead and retweet or share this article. Once there are 30 shares in total, we’ll get back to you, asking for your email address to send you the code.
