Free apps vs Core apps
Learn the difference between Free and Core apps in the Additive App Suite. See which apps are included in each tier, what happens when your 30-day trial ends, which features remain available, and when a paid plan is required to export your designs.
Apps in the Additive App Suite are split into two tiers: Free and Core. Here's how they work.
Free apps
Free apps are always available to you. You can open them, configure a design, and export a print-ready file with no restrictions – on any plan, including after your trial ends.
These apps are free:

Core apps
Core apps cover more advanced or specialized workflows. You can open and configure Core apps at any time, but exporting requires a paid plan after your 30-day free trial.
This means you can always explore and test a Core app – you just won't be able to download the output file until you upgrade.
