Saving and loading sessions

Learn how to save and load sessions in the Additive App Suite. Because sessions aren't stored online, saving a session preserves your design, settings, and parameters on your local computer so you can continue working exactly where you left off.

Sessions in the Additive App Suite are temporary and no data is stored online. If you want to continue working on a design later, you'll need to save your session before you leave the app.

To save a session:

  1. Select Save session in the top menu.
  2. Download the session file to your computer.

To load a saved session:

  1. Open the app you used to create the session.
  2. Select Load session in the top menu.
  3. Choose the saved session file.

Loading a session restores your design, including its settings and parameters, so you can continue where you left off.
