FAQs
The Additive App Suite is an online platform with easy-to-use design tools powered by trinckle’s paramate engine. It lets teams create print-ready parts for industrial 3D printing with less intervention from busy engineering teams, enabling faster turnaround, fewer delays, and up to 92 percent less design time.
The public beta of the Additive App Suite includes three apps:
Robotic fingers – for creating custom robot grippers
Trays and shadow boards – for designing kitting trays and shadow boards that improve tool access
Workpiece creator – for quickly generating simple geometries to represent parts that need to be fixtured
No CAD expertise is needed to use these apps, and more apps are already in development.
No, everything runs in the browser through an interactive interface which is designed to be easy to use.
Just upload a part (or drag and drop 3D primitives), adjust a few settings, and download a ready-to-print STL or 3MF file – perfect for a 3D printing workflow.
Our beta is now live and free to use.
Just click "Get started" above, register, and dive in!
Yes, trinckle is actively shaping the roadmap with input from beta users.
Enterprises can also commission custom design-automation apps that run on the same platform.
You can share your feedback or request features here: https://www.trinckle.com/apps/feedback
During the beta, the Additive App Suite is free to use.
Commercial pricing will be introduced afterwards, which will be tailored to each customer's workflow and scale.
By default, the Additive App Suite runs as SaaS in trinckle’s EU-hosted cloud.
An on-premises option is available for enterprise customers.
Data is stored with ISO-certified providers in line with GDPR, and session-level separation ensures protection of 3D geometry.
