ERIKS saves €100K annually with fixturemate and UltiMaker 3D printers

Ede, Netherlands, July 2024 – ERIKS, a global leader in engineering solutions with over 5,000 employees, has announced significant savings by using fixturemate software and UltiMaker 3D printing technology.
ERIKS specializes in providing mechanical engineering components and services to help customers improve machines, production lines, and industrial projects. As an early adopter of 3D printing, they have used UltiMaker 3D printers for over ten years to create fixtures, jigs, and other production tools. However, designing these tools has typically been limited to a small group of CAD experts within the company.
To make the process more efficient, ERIKS implemented fixturemate software, which speeds up the design process for production tooling, allowing non-CAD users to access 3D printing technology.
Through its investment in fixturemate and UltiMaker 3D printers, ERIKS saved €100,000 in the first year of use, approximately six times the initial investment.
