What's new in fixturemate 2.1?

We're pleased to announce that fixturemate 2.1 is now available and ready to use.

No action is needed from you to update - just log into fixturemate, and you'll find the latest features waiting for you. Here's what you can expect to find:

What's new?

 

Drag and drop. Importing single workpieces can now be carried out via drag and drop.

fixturemate in German. fixturemate can now be used in English or German. The language is automatically selected when the program starts depending on the location, provided it is part of our library, and can be changed later in the program settings.

Support heights. The height of the support structures can now be changed directly in the 3D view using the mouse, and the user interface is now more intuitive with a three-dimensional preview.

Improved labels. Placing text fields is now also possible on non-planar surfaces. In addition, the user interface has been improved, and there are new functions to place the text fields even more precisely. Depth and heights of labels can be edited.

STEP export. Dimensions of the fixture's bounding box and the amount of added elements is always shown at the bottom left of the viewport.

New material saving feature. New feature to design supports and 3D-printed baseplates with internal hexagonal structures to save material and production times.
